Faridabad Police, has a separate Traffic Police wing and its office is situated in Sec-20B, Faridabad. Traffic Police wing is headed by DCP Traffic and 1 ACsP are also posted for the assistance of DCP. The incharge of Police Station Traffic is an Inspector.And 3 Traffic Inspector (TI) who are posted at different cheking plints on the highway. Traffic Police Station on Highways called TPS and is situated at NH-44. The jurisdiction of Traffic Police Station is from Badarpur to Sikri on NH-44. Traffic Police has 4 Interceptor vehicles, 1 Ambulances and 2 crains,1 Emergency Response Vehicle, 18 zonal officers to the rank of equal and above to ASI’s, 20 motor cycles and 32 e-challan machines.
Traffic equipments are issued to Traffic Officials for their safety and for better Traffic Management. Constables are deployed at Mathura road in night with helmet, reflective jacket and light bar to regulate traffic. To avoid accidents, barricades are being used to slow down the traffic. Challans are issued by 4 Interceptor vehicles at different places on highway to minimize the accidents 7 Ambulances are always ready to shift the injured persons immediately to hospital.
