WhatsApp India Grievance Officer

The new Information Technology Act has been framed in India and companies have to appoint Grievance Officer to redress grievances of users or victims in India and not to receive legal process or requests from law enforcement authorities. If you have a concern regarding the usage of WhatsApp or the processing of your information, we recommend that you visit our Help Center. If you would like to contact us about UPI based payments on WhatsApp, the most relevant and quickest way to address your concern is by doing one of the following:

  • Open WhatsApp Settings > tap Payments > Help, or
  • Open WhatsApp Settings > tap Payments > Payments History > Transaction Details > Help, or
  • Tap the payment message > Transaction Details

Contact WhatsApp India Grievance Officer

You can contact the Grievance Officer based in India with your complaints or concerns in two ways one is email ID and another one is via Post on the below address.

To contact the Grievance Officer, please send an email ([email protected]) with your complaint or concern and sign with an electronic signature. If you’re contacting us about a specific account, please include your phone number in the full international format, including the country code.

For example, if a contact in the United States (country code “1”) has the area code “408” and phone number “XXX-XXXX”, you’d enter +1 408 XXX XXXX.
